Apply Coupon for Specific Customers

We would like the ability to create a coupon and apply it to a select customer(s) only so that we can have more control of who has the ability to apply a promo code.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Currently, you can create a unique promo code, limit it to be used only 1 time and apply a specific expiration date and time then instead of sharing it with everyone, just send it to that specific customer for them to use.
In the future, we see the value of adding a drop down so that you can select and apply a promo code to a specific customers name, account and email so that you will get more control.
